Beautiful alone in a vase |

This hanging Amaranthus is a new item for me and I didn't realize that it would also have such a lovely, natural scent. My husband commented on the nice smell when he walked into our apartment.
It was a bit potent when I first took it out of the bag, but the small waned and now it is just a nice room deodorizer. It is right next to our dogs' indoor potty as well and helps to mask any unpleasant aromas that we would otherwise have.
I have very simply displayed this flower in a Wedgwood vase gift that we received when we got married on our mantel and as I spread out the pieces, it actually looks like a beautiful, living vine on the mantel.
This look would otherwise be impossible to achieve in a short amount of time, as there is also limited light.
